Diocesan programs

The School of Ministry will be offering a variety of programs designed to assist leaders in our parishes and missions (i.e., parishes in formation) carry out their duties to guide, guard, and govern the flock.


If you've identified an area of need you feel we could meet, or an area of your expertise that you would be willing to share either as a teacher or as materials to be developed into a course, please go to our Contact page and send us your suggestions. If a topic has potential we will be happy to work with you to develop a course proposal and submit it to the bishop.


Some general areas to help get your thinking started:

  • The Canons of the ICCEC

  • Teaching the ICCEC Catechism

  • Celebrating an instructional Mass (why we do what we do)
